Lim Kian Chun

Co-Founder and CEO, Mission Group

Lim Kian Chun is the Co-Founder and CEO of Mission Group. Mission Hospitality, formerly Ebb & Flow Group, is the group’s hospitality arm, behind a growing portfolio of dining concepts that have contributed to Singapore’s evolving dining culture. Since co-founding the group in 2018, Chun has driven its growth from a single restaurant acquisition into a diverse collection of brands recognised for their design-forward sensibility, strong culinary identity, and distinctive guest experiences. These include award-winning Temper Wine Room & Lounge, four-time Michelin-starred Willow, cultural cornerstone Chin Mee Chin, and cult favourite concepts like Casa Vostra, Firebird by Suetomi, and more.

A former law graduate turned entrepreneur, Chun began his journey in early-stage investing before directing his focus to hospitality and F&B. His background continues to inform his approach to building businesses, combining long-term thinking with a strong emphasis on concept clarity, operational resilience and relevance to changing consumer habits.

At Mission Group, Chun leads the company’s broader hospitality vision, including its continued brand development, regional growth and adoption of technology across the business. His work is rooted in the belief that hospitality is ultimately powered by people, and that technology should exist to reduce administrative burden so teams can focus more on things that matter most: food, service, guests and the people they lead.

Under his leadership, Mission Group continues to build unique and thoughtful dining concepts with a clear point of view, while developing the operational infrastructure needed to support the next stage of its growth.

Philipp Hölke

Co-Founder and CTO, Mission Group

Philipp Hölke is Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Mission Group, formerly Ebb & Flow Group, where he leads Mission Systems, the group’s artificial intelligence business focused on building autonomous operating systems for hospitality and other industries with complex operational requirements.

Since co-founding the group in 2018, Philipp has played a central role in building the operational and technology foundations behind its growth. As former Group Chief Operating Officer, he helped scale the business from a small independent venture into one of Singapore’s fastest-growing hospitality groups. As CTO, he has led the in-house development of enterprise software, autonomous systems, and proprietary AI models across the group’s operations.

Philipp is also the founder of Kamino Corporation (opens in a new tab), a Singapore-based AI research lab focused on autonomous software systems and agent infrastructure.

Before Mission Group, Philipp was a Partner at Cerana Capital (opens in a new tab), a Singapore-based venture capital fund, where he spent seven years investing in and working with early-stage companies. He began his career at Goldman Sachs in London after studying computer science and management at University College London, where he graduated with First Class Honours.
